the first is a little CBGB (RIP, nevertheless). i like the toucan! i would wear it! what other animal is better looking?! God.

While I like the first one, I feel as though I’ve seen the design somewhere before. Don’t ask me where.

Some could read the second one as
“iThem Imeti Rs.com”… Maybe it’s just me. Or maybe that’s what you were going for.

The third one has a sort of John Lennon feel to it. I like the hand drawing aspect of it and the random bird. I’d wear that one. Just cuz of the bird. Remove the bird and it’s just another shirt.

that’d actually be 50s and 60s BLUENOTE art. columbia – eh… art rarely did it for me. except Miles Davis “Sorcerer” and, of course, the “Bitches Brew”

yea – the typography thing has been really bugging me since these went up. i started working on some new ideas which i’ll post once they are anywhere near appropriate – akie actually likes the second one (go figure). i think mainly cuase he’s been looking at lots of columbia jazz albums from the 50s and 60s.

so the next ones are gonna be in color, with a little less brooklyn spirit and more of an actual graphic designer emphasis (grids and whatnot).

i did the look of the first one and the third one, but don’t like the typeface on either one of them. dig the (.com) of the first one. dig the handdrawing thing, but find a better lookin’ animal!
